Buki is an entreprenuer who has lived and worked on 3 continents and has a passion for culture, travel, networking and learning. She spent over 20 years working in advertising for blue-chip Clients but now wants to build for 'people and culture'. “Three of my greatest passions (aside from coffee & chocolate) are solving problems, connecting people, creating memories. I've met so many economic and educational-migrants who have had to start life all over in a different climate. I've built Triberly, so they have a ready-made family in their new destination. Triberly is the one place you turn to, to find everything you need”.
2020 saw an unprecedented rise in migration of young people to Europe, particularly UK, compared to other years. During this period, we also witnessed a mass depature of Africans to USA, Germany and Canada due to the new schemes and pathways offered to residency. Buki saw this phenomenon as something adventurously positive but with several potential downsides. We initially started a real estate service in Nigeria, helping the emigrant families short-let their homes on that side, placing properties on listing sites and managing the bookings. But then stories started to emerge of people finding it tough settling down in their migrant countries, unable to assimilate and looking to build a social circle outside of work or studies. Buki thought to herself "These people are going to need a lot more help settling down on the other side".
